2015 marks the 79th year the American Automobile Association (AAA) published a list of the greatest hotels and restaurants across the country.
The AAA ranks businesses via the diamond rating system on a one-to-five scale. In Oregon, 15 hotels and one restaurant are rated four diamonds — a rating that indicates exceptional luxuries and customer service.
The following businesses achieved AAA’s four diamond rating (with the year they were first awarded):

Depoe Bay: Whale Cove Inn (2011)
Eugene: Inn at the 5th (2012)
Gold Beach: Tu Tu’ Tun Lodge (1976)
