The mobile app developers HeyLets surveyed 2,500 Americans to determine which state has the most humble residents. Oregon came in second to Utah.

HeyLets created an app that allows users to track those who have similar interests based on what they post on social media. They used this app to analyze posts and tweets about weather, vacations, and work-related news that can be considered bragging.

The report showed that only 26 percent of Oregonians boast on social media.

Oregon’s neighbors, California and Washington, were ranked first and second highest among braggers, respectively. According to the report, over three-quarters of residents from both states use social media to boast.

The survey did not analyze posts boasting about the state itself. Oregonians are nationally recognized for and take pride in their delicious food and beautiful landscapes.
