If you haven’t seen Kelly Clarkson’s baby girl, River Rose, dancing to her mom’s new single, you’re missing out.
On Jan. 9th, Clarkson released a teaser video featuring 6-month-old River as she listened and danced to her mom’s first post-pregnancy music release.
“Hey, River, what are you listening to?” Clarkson said in the video. “Dance it out! You wanna show everybody? Yeah you do!”
But Clarkson waited to share the most heartwarming aspect of her new single until its release on Monday—The track is set to the beat of River’s heart.
“The beat is actually River’s heartbeat slowed down from when she was in my tummy,” she said.
River clearly approves of the song, as she can be seen adorably laughing and dancing in the studio while listening to it.
Clarkson admitted to People that her pregnancy was extremely difficult at times, saying that what she and River went through together gave them a special bond.
“Nausea is an understatement! I was hospitalized. It was bad! I was vomiting a good 25 times a day. It was not good,” she said. “I can’t even believe I want to [get pregnant] again.”
Clarkson’s next pop album, Piece by Piece, is set to be released in March.
